Israel Is Denying My Children a Future

By Fadi Abu Shammalah

Produced by Vishakha Darbha

As Israel’s military demands that people leave the northern part of the Gaza Strip, Fadi Abu Shammalah, a Palestinian resident, asks, “How many Gazan families will be obliterated?”

In this audio essay, recorded from a refugee camp in Gaza, Abu Shammalah shares his experience trying to evacuate his wife and young children while bombs destroy homes and apartment complexes around them. He urges the international community to intervene on behalf of civilians like them.
